Scotland's dream of making it to the Euro knockout stages ended yet again, as Croatia thumped Steve Clarke's side 3-1 at Hampden Park on Tuesday.
While it was a do-or-die situation for both sides, Croatia made the maximum of it. Although Nikola Vlasic scored the opener Scottish player Callum McGregor levelled the game minutes before halftime.
However, dominant Croatia brushed aside Scotland's hope of qualifying with 2 more goals from Luka Modric and Ivan Perisic in the 62nd and 77th minute.
With the win, Zlatko Dalic's men secured 2nd place in Group D, and Scotland was eliminated for the 11th time in the group stages of a major tournament.
