Erdogan offers to mediate between Russia and Ukraine

Turkey is mulling whether it could play a mediating role between Russia and Ukraine. Ahead of his departure for the G-20 summit in Argentina, Erdogan said he had discussed tensions with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko. Tensions between Russia and Ukraine flared on Sunday, when Russian border guards fired on three Ukrainian vessels and seized the ships with the crew.
