Chennai, July 15 (PTI) - Filmmaker Pa Ranjith has paid an emotional tribute to the seasoned stunt artist S M Raju, who tragically passed away on the set of the director's upcoming film, "Vettuvam".
The 52-year-old, fondly known as Mohan Raj, was performing a high-octane stunt involving an SUV in Nagapattinam on July 13 when he unexpectedly collapsed. Despite the swift actions of his colleagues, who rushed him to a nearby hospital, he was declared brought dead upon arrival.
Pa Ranjith, known for his work on "Thangalaan", expressed his sorrow in a heartfelt statement released on his official X account, sharing that the loss of Mohan Raj Anna has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and colleagues.
