Jung Chae Yull, South Korean model-actor, passed away at the age of 26, according to her agency Management S. According to a new report, the actor died on Tuesday. Jung Chae Yull was reportedly filming 'Wedding Impossible', a web novel-based drama, until recently.
According to Soompi, Management S issued a statement saying, 'Today, we are relaying sorrowful and heartbreaking news. Jung Chae Yull, the actress, died on April 11, 2023. The funeral will be held quietly and privately, in accordance with the wishes of the bereaved family, who must have been suffering more than anyone else.'
Further, it added, 'Please wish for Jung Chae Yull, who had always been earnest in her pursuit of acting, to rest in peace in a warm place. We earnestly request that you refrain from writing speculative articles or spreading rumors.'
After the news of her death, the cast and crew of Wedding Impossible were in shock and immediately halted filming, as per the report. Soompi also quoted a representative from the production team saying, 'We express our deep condolences. Future filming schedule is under internal discussion.'
Fans and followers of the late actor also paid tribute to her on her Instagram page. Jung Chae Yull's most recent Instagram post was on April 8. She shared a series of photos of herself in various poses and expressions while drinking. The actor was also seen leaving her house with a bottle in her hand.
Jung Chae Yull debuted on the survival show 'Devil's Runway' in 2016. She then made her acting debut in the 2018 film 'Deep'. The actor was best known for his role in Netflix's 'Zombie Detective'. Among her other projects is the Korean drama series 'I Have Not Done My Best'.
