Park Hae-soo and Kim Tae-hee to make Hollywood debut; to be seen in American series 'Butterfly': report

South Korean actors Park Hae-soo and Kim Tae-hee are reportedly set to be a part of an upcoming American series titled ‘Butterfly.’ The series, which will be screened on Amazon Prime Video, will feature six episodes, as per a report by Variety. 

The report says that Park will be a recurring guest star in the upcoming series ‘Butterfly.’ The plot of the series is inspired by the novel of the same name. Created by Arash Amel and Marguerite Bennett, it tells the story of the character David Jung. Jung is a former U.S. intelligence agent, whose life takes a u-turn due to an important choice he makes.

Actor Park Hae-soo is known for his popular ‘Squid Game.’ He also received an Emmy nomination for the best supporting actor in a drama. He is also renowned for his roles in projects like Prison Playbook, Chimera, Money Heist: Korea, and Ruthless Operation. 

Kim Tae-hee gained recognition with the South Korean TV series ‘Stairway to Heaven.’ She was then seen in shows like ‘Hi Bye Mama’, ‘Revenant’, ‘Forbidden Love’ and ‘Love Story in Harvard’ and films like ‘Iris’ and ‘Lies Hidden In My Garden’.
