K-pop girl group aespa's Karina is reportedly dating K-drama star Lee Jae Wook. On February 27, Dispatch Korea exclusively revealed their alleged romantic relationship. After BLACKPINK's Jisoo and 'See You In My 19th Life' actor Ahn Bo Hyun's relationship announcement in 2023, this is the new big reveal that has set the gossip mills in the K-pop industry abuzz.
According to the Dispatch Korea report, Karina and Lee Jae Wook have developed a romantic relationship. The pair bonded after meeting at the Prada Fashion Show in Milan on January 14, the report stated. It added that the new lovebirds have been seen spending quality time together and often meeting in the 'Alchemy of Souls' actor's neighbourhood for late-night walks.
After the rumours of Lee Jae Wook and aespa's Karina's alleged relationship spread like wildfire, their agency released a statement with a careful approach. In response to inquiries about the rumours, Lee Jae-wook’s agency, C-JeS Studio, proceeded cautiously, stating, “We are currently checking.” A representative from the agency also mentioned, “We have just come across the article. We will need to verify this information."
Lee Jae-wook, 25, made his acting debut in 2018 with tvN’s science fiction thriller 'Memories of the Alhambra,' also starring Park Shin Hye and Hyun Bin. Since his big debut, he has impressed fans with his performances in critically acclaimed K-dramas, including 'Search: WWW', 'Extraordinary You', 'Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol', 'Alchemy of Souls', and 'Death’s Game'. His most recent K-drama, 'Impossible Heir', premiered on February 26th on Prime Video.
