Los Angeles, Jul 30 (PTI) Actor Jack Reynor is set to join Hollywood star Rachel Brosnahan in the second season of Apple TV+'s gripping legal thriller series "Presumed Innocent."
The upcoming season takes inspiration from Jo Murray's next book "Dissection of a Murder," which is scheduled for release in 2026, according to entertainment news outlet Variety.
While details about Reynor's role remain undisclosed, he is widely recognized for his performances in "Transformers: Age of Extinction" and "The Perfect Couple."
Although Apple has not yet provided an official overview, the publisher Pan Macmillan shares some insights into the storyline. "When Leila Reynolds receives her first murder case, she's taken aback by its high profile: the murder of a respected, well-known judge. She feels the case is beyond her skills. However, the defendant, Jack Millman, is adamant. He wants her, and only her," the synopsis states.
The first season, created by David E Kelley, featured Jake Gyllenhaal and Ruth Nega in leading roles and was based on Scott Turow's 1987 novel of the same name.
Rachel Brosnahan, who gained fame with her role in the hit Amazon series "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel," which wrapped up in 2023, was last seen in the highly-anticipated "Superman" film by director James Gunn, co-starring David Corenswet.
Reynor is also slated to appear in season two of Amazon Prime Video's series "Citadel."
