IFFI 2025 to Open with Parade Celebrating Indian Cinema on Mandovi River

Panaji, Nov 11 (PTI) The International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2025 is set to commence with a spectacular parade along the Mandovi river, celebrating India's vibrant film heritage, as announced by Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday. IFFI 2025 will take place from November 20 to 28, 2025, across various venues in Panaji.

The Chief Minister, joined by officials from the Directorate of Film Festival and the Entertainment Society of Goa— the organizing bodies—oversaw the preparations for the grand event.

During a press briefing, Sawant revealed that a special parade featuring floats from film companies and various industry stakeholders will be held on November 20. The parade route will span from the Old Secretariat building to the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) building.

The inaugural ceremony is scheduled at the ESG courtyard, which boasts a capacity to host 2,500 guests, according to the Chief Minister.
