Mumbai, Nov 10 (PTI) Veteran actor Dharmendra, aged 89, has been hospitalized for several days and remains in serious condition, but stable, according to an industry insider on Monday. Having been admitted multiple times, he is currently at Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai.
An insider, speaking on condition of anonymity, stated that "Dharamji's health is not in a great state." Contrary to circulating rumors, a representative for the actor's son, Sunny Deol, confirmed that the "Sholay" star is not on a ventilator.
The representative said, "Mr. Dharmendra is stable and under observation. We will provide further comments and updates as they become available. We ask everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family's right to privacy.”
