Washington DC [US], June 26 (ANI): Hollywood star Brad Pitt has no intentions of marrying his girlfriend Ines de Ramon despite the celebrity jewellery designer growing increasingly close to his family over the years, according to a source close to the couple, Page Six reported.
"Ines is incredibly close with Brad's family. They absolutely adore her, and she's been welcomed with open arms from the beginning," the source told Page Six, adding, "At this point, they basically consider her family and one of their own."
However, the insider was clear that marriage remains off the table for the 62-year-old actor. "But Brad has no plans on getting married despite how close Ines has become with everyone," the source said.
De Ramon, 33, has been dating Pitt since 2022, and the insider noted that her relationship with the 'Fight Club' star's family extends well beyond Pitt himself.
"Ines and Brad's family keep in touch regularly and genuinely enjoy spending time with her. It never feels like she's 'Brad's girlfriend.' She's just part of the family when they're together," the source said, adding that de Ramon has made a deliberate effort to build individual bonds. "She's built real relationships with everyone. She spends time with Brad's brother and sister, nieces and nephews, attends family gatherings and has made an effort to get to know each of them individually," according to Page Six.
According to the insider, de Ramon's bond with Pitt's relatives has taken on a life of its own. "They text and keep in touch outside of Brad, which says a lot about how close they've become," the source said, describing de Ramon as effortlessly sociable within the family setting. "Ines is very down-to-earth and easy to be around. She'll sit around laughing and joking with everyone for hours and is completely comfortable in those settings. It doesn't feel forced at all."
The source added that de Ramon has now become a fixture in family life beyond just her relationship with Pitt. "People ask about her, include her in family plans and genuinely want her around. She's become a natural part of the family dynamic," the insider said. Representatives for Pitt and de Ramon did not immediately respond to Page Six's requests for comment.
Pitt finalised his long-running divorce from actor Angelina Jolie, 51, in December 2024, bringing to a close more than eight years of legal proceedings after Jolie filed to dissolve the marriage in September 2016. The former couple share six children, Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 17. De Ramon herself was previously married to 'Vampire Diaries' actor Paul Wesley, having quietly wed him in 2019 before the couple split in 2022 after more than three years of marriage.
In an interview, in May 2025, ahead of the release of his racing film 'F1', Pitt addressed the conclusion of his divorce from Jolie for the first time, downplaying any sense of relief at the settlement. "No, I don't think it was that major of a thing," he said. "Just something coming to fruition. Legally."
Pitt also offered a rare glimpse into his relationship with de Ramon when asked whether their first public appearance together at a Formula 1 race had been a calculated decision. "No, dude, it's not that calculated," he said, laughing. "If you're living, oh my God, how exhausting would that be? If you're living with making those kinds of calculations? No, life just evolves. Relationships evolve," according to Page Six.
On the persistent media attention surrounding his personal life, Pitt added, "My personal life is always in the news. It's been in the news for 30 years, bro. Or some version of my personal life, let's put it that way.
Page Six has previously reported that Pitt's son Pax continues to maintain a relationship with his father's side of the family, though he does not have much of a relationship with Pitt himself following the divorce. Several of Pitt's siblings are also reported to have distanced themselves from him and from his surname, in recent years. (ANI)
