Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan's daughter Aaradhya made headlines after she moved to the Delhi High Court against a YouTube channel for reporting fake news about her health. Aishwarya, who is busy promoting her film ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ has addressed the matter during a press conference in Mumbai.
When she was asked about ‘irrelevant news content that hurts people emotionally and sentimentally,’ the actor said that it was nice that a member of the media recognizes the negative impact of ‘false writing or unnecessary writing’ which is insensitive and unnecessary. She thanked the reporter for supporting the sentiment.
At the press conference, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan said, 'It’s so nice that a member from the media only is recognising that that does exist. So that gives us a great hope that you are obviously not going to perpetuate that, you are not going to encourage that and thank you very much for your wise recognition of the negative impact of false writing or unnecessary writing which is insensitive and unnecessary. So thank you so much for your support for the sentiment that we all share and for your wisdom in recognising that.'
'Ponniyin Selvan 2', directed by Mani Ratnam, will be released in theatres on April 28.
