England all-rounder David Willey confirmed on Thursday that he has tested positive for Covid-19 after representing his county club Yorkshire in two matches. He is self-isolating and will remain under medical attention of his team staff. Apart from Yorkshire skipper Willey, 3 other members of their first-choice XI were also ruled out of the remaining Vitality Blast fixtures as they had spent time with Willey. The 30-year-old thanked his fans for the messages and also confirmed that his wife has too contracted the deadly virus. Willey was part of the England squad that took on Ireland last month and had played all 3 ODIs. He had left the England bio-bubble post that to play for Yorkshire.
