Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu and Aam Aadmi Party's CM candidate in Punjab Bhagwant Mann filed their nominations for the upcoming state assembly elections on Saturday.
Mann will contest the elections from Dhuri seat while Sidhu filed his nomination papers from Amritsar East.
While filing his nomination, Sidhu said that he didn't want to turn Loktantra (democracy) into Dandatantra (force). This city has had and will continue to have faith in Congress, he added.
The PCC chief also attacked SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia, who is contesting from Majitha & Amritsar East constituencies, and dared him to contest just from Amritsar East.

Meanwhile, Bhagwant Mann thanked AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and urged the people to help AAP win in Punjab polls.
The upcoming assembly elections in the state are slated to be held on February 20.
