Actor-turned-politician Ravi Kishan was all praise for PM Narendra Modi while preparing tea at a local shop in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur.
Clad with the typical UP ‘gamcha’, the BJP MP was seen grinding ginger to make the tea while speaking about the upcoming Lok Sabha election.
Ravi Kishan was reportedly taking part in the Jan Sampark Abhiyan in his Lok Sabha constituency.
“Only the one who has seen poverty can run this country. This country is 80% rural,” Kishan said while preparing tea. “These princes who were born with a diamond spoon and studied in Italy and Australia will not be able to understand this India,” the BJP MP added.
A day earlier, BJP’s Mandi candidate Kangana Ranaut was also seen interacting with locals. She was seen visiting local temples, taking tea breaks and dancing with the people from the constituency.
Several Bhojpuri artists have been fielded in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, including Manoj Tiwari, Dinesh Lal Yadav and Pawan Singh.
“Let me tell you one thing very clearly. The entire Bhojpuri film industry and Bhojpuri-speaking electorates are with our Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji and the BJP,” Kishan had told PTI.
