From trying to sell us the lowest interest rates to fastest broadband connections, there is no end to the nuisance of telemarketing calls. The ‘Do Not Disturb’ option that lets subscribers opt out of receiving such calls or messages does not really work. This week on India Story, former Telecom Regulatory Authority of India chairman RS Sharma tells us how the new recommendations made by the body can help reduce spam calls.
