The civil aviation industry in India has emerged as one of the fastest-growing industries in the nation and is among the fastest-growing in the world. Indian domestic air passenger traffic grew by 60% in 2022-23 to 13.60 crore. It is already in the top three domestic aviation markets in the world and is expected to become the third-largest air passenger market by 2024. In this episode, Vikram Chandra discusses the exponential growth in India's civil aviation industry with Union Minister, Jyotriaditya Scindia. Also on the show tonight, India now has 75% of the world's tiger population as the latest census reveals an increase of 200 big cats in the last four years.
