BJP led NDA defeated the No-Confidence Motion moved by the opposition parties against the government on August 10. The motion was moved by the Congress and other opposition parties on the issue of Manipur violence. Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a nearly 2-hour speech in Parliament as he replied to motion against his govt.
