A bug with email client Edison Mail reportedly exposed emails intended for other users without requiring a sign in. Some iOS users raised alarm on Twitter, stating that the problem cropped up after they had enabled a new sync feature, which erroneously gave them access to an email account other that belonged to someone else. Developer Edison responded by saying that the bug had affected a small percentage of users that had received an update which has since been rolled back. The firm stressed that it wasn't a data breach and that it had reached out to affected users.
