EC notice to Giriraj Singh on anti-Muslim remark

The Election Commission has sent a notice to BJP's Giriraj Singh for violating the Model Code of Conduct and Supreme Court order. The poll panel expressed its objection over the Begusarai candidate's comments during a rally where he had said, that those who cannot say Vande Mataram or cannot respect the motherland, will not be forgiven by India. Giriraj Singh had said no grave was built for his ancestors, but Muslims need thrice the space for their graves. The EC has given the leader 24 hours to file his reply.
