East Bengal is all set to face rival ATK Mohun Bagan in the top division for the next season of the Indian Super League. ISL organisers Football Sports Development Limited on Sunday announced that East Bengal will be a part of the Indian Super League from the 2020-21 season. The Reds and Golds facilitated their entry process last month, after attracting investment from Kolkata-based Shree Cement Limited, which now owns majority stakes in the club. Nita Ambani, founder and chairperson, FSDL who welcomed the club as the 11th team in ISL said that East Bengal and ATK Mohun Bagan open limitless possibilities for Indian football, especially for talent development in West Bengal
