Students were unable to attend school so teachers at the Dumarthar village in Jharkhand's Dumka have taken the school to their homes amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Since these children do not have access to mobile phones, teachers created blackboards on the walls of their homes, so they could learn in a socially distant manner. Over 100 blackboards have been created on the walls.
The initiative, called Shiksha Aapke Dwaar, received praise from Dumka Deputy Commissioner who added that it will motivate other teachers to adopt the same method.
