Here's another feather in Dubai's cap!
The sky was lit with fireworks as Dubai broke the record for the world's largest water fountain on Thursday.
Located on the Palm Jumeirah, the new Palm Fountain covers an area of 14,366 square feet. It's got 7500 nozzles, over 3000 LED lights and the water shoots up 105 meters high.
The Palm Fountain will have 20 different shows everyday from sunset until midnight, with synchronised music from a variety of genres.
As per a Guinness World Records representative, the previous holder held the title for 11 years.
