Drugs on cruise case: Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan sent to NCB custody till October 7

A Mumbai court denied bail to superstar SRK's son Aryan Khan who was arrested in connection with a drugs case on Saturday.

He has been sent to NCB's custody till October 7 along with his friends Arbaaz Merchant, fashion designer Munmun Dhamecha. 

They were earlier detained after the anti-drug agency Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raided a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast.

As part of the investigation, Aryan’s phone was seized and several chats about drug purchases and transactions have been recovered.

The Additional Solicitor General (ASG) argued saying that a lot of incriminating material was found on Aryan’s WhatsApp chats with drug peddlers which also hints at international drug trafficking.

However, Aryan's lawyer Satish Maneshinde said that the NCB 'cannot simply rely on WhatsApp chats' for the case, and seek extension of the custody.
