According to reports, the Chinese government has been receiving real-time data from electric vehicles, including their precise location. Manufacturers that send data from the customer's vehicle to the government include Tesla, Volkswagen, BMW, Daimler, Ford, General Motors, Nissan, and Mitsubishi among others. The government is making efforts to receive data from all electric vehicle manufacturers in China.
