A new directive of the Mamata govt in West Bengal has sparked controversy. The Cooch Behar District officer for Minority affairs has sought a list of govt schools with large number of minority students. The order says it for construction of dining halls for mid-day meal in these schools. The order says that dining halls will be constructed in schools with more than 70% students from minority community. The BJP has termed the order communal and objectionable
