India who was traditionally known as a world-class spinning side has now emerged as a team with one of the better fast bowling groups. Ishant Sharma who is one of the pillars of that group feels that MS Dhoni's rotation policy with the fast bowlers didn't help the team achieve consistency. After Delhi's Ranji Trophy win over Hyderabad, Ishant said that during Dhoni's time, some of them didn't have much experience. Also, the fast bowlers would be rotated a lot, which was also a reason that consistency as a group couldn't be achieved. Ishant added that by the time Virat Kohli took over, the fast bowlers had gained a fair amount of experience which has helped a lot.
