Shut for over a year owning to the Covid-19 pandemic, Delhi's National Zoological Park is all set to reopen to visitors from April 1.
Zoo director Ramesh Pandey said the opening of the zoo comes with enhanced Covid19 safety protocols, new services for visitors and new animal species.
The tickets will be available only online through the zoo's website and visitors will be allotted specific time slots during the day.
The number of animals at the zoo has increased to 1,200 from 1,005 in March.
