Delhi BJP chief bats for anti-Romeo squads in the capital

As the controversial anti-romeo squads have been relaunched in Uttar Pradesh, the BJP is batting for similar teams to combat stalkers and eve-teasers in the national capital. The initiative in Uttar Pradesh had received flak after reports of vigilantism and harassment of innocent couples in the name of women safety. The backing for the controversial police teams has come from Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari. "Anti-Romeo squad is a very good thing and it is being started in Uttar Pradesh again. It should be welcomed as it is related to women safety. In my opinion, it should be started in Delhi also," said Manoj Tiwari.
