Delhi air pollution: Centre to invoke criminal laws against violators

As the air quality dips to severe levels in the national capital region, the government has decided to initiate criminal prosecution against agencies which do not comply with directives to check air pollution. The decision comes after Central Pollution Control Board teams found that the rate of agencies following the green norms was very poor.
