Day 16: Mehalaya miners still trapped, 3 helmets found

3 helmets have been found by divers in the illegal rat-hole mine in Meghalaya where 15 people have been trapped since December 13. Search and rescue efforts have had little results due to lack of high pressured pumps needed to drain the flooded mine. A 15 member Navy diving team has flown in from Andhra Pradesh and ten-high powered pumps have also been airlifted by the Air Force. Both rescue parties are still en route to the site of accident.
