A storm hit the Wankhede stadium on Wednesday night. It rained sixes, 26 in total but after the dust settled, it was the Chennai Super Kings who registered an 18-run win vs KKR. Put into bat, Faf du Plessis powered CSK to 220/3 courtesy an unbeaten 95. KKR's run chase was derailed when they found themselves at 31/5. Then began the Andre Russell show. He smashed a 21-ball fifty and gave KKR hope. After that, Pat Cummins took CSK bowlers to the cleaners with 66 not out of just 34 balls. But no support from the other end meant that KKR were bowled out for 202. CSK have now become the first team to win at least 15 matches against 5 different opponents.
