With the final 2 Tests vs England scheduled to be played at the Motera Cricket Stadium, Ahmedabad is rolling out the red carpet for the Pink Ball Test. Special arrangements have been made for the inauguration of the largest cricket stadium in the world by the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind.

He will later interact with the players of Indian and England cricket teams. Motera has a capacity of 1.10 lakh spectators but only 50% of tickets have been sold as per Covid-19 guidelines.

Clearly, cricketing fever is tightly gripping Gujarat as top cricketers will stay in the city for almost a month.
