When 62-year-old Rosario was admitted to the Nurse Isabel Zendal pandemic Hospital in Madrid along with her partner 70-year-old Fernando due to Covid-19, they had no idea the two would tie the knot.
Shortly after being admitted Fernando asked the big question to Rosario via WhatsApp since the two were being treated in different wards of the hospital.
The wedding took place at the hospital premises with the priest in attendance via video call. The duo placed rings on each others hands, while Fernando was in bed, Rosario was in a wheelchair beside him. The video of the wedding was released by Madrid's government.
