Covid-19 scare has hit the Indian camp in UK as Team India head coach Ravi Shastri has returned a positive lateral flow test. As a result, bowling coach Bharat Arun, fielding coach R Sridhar, and team physio Nitin Patel are isolating their team hotel along with Shastri as a precautionary measure.

BCCI in a statement said that they have undergone RT-PCR testing and will not travel with Team India until confirmation from the medical team. The remaining members of the Indian contingent underwent two Lateral Flow Tests, one on Saturday night and another on the morning of Day 4. Thankfully, they all returned negative and were allowed to proceed for Day 4 of the fourth Test at The Oval.
