Greece will begin to welcome tourists who either test negative for Covid-19, have antibodies or are vaccinated against the disease from May, Tourism Minister Harry Theocharis said on Tuesday.
All tourists will be subject to random testing, he said. Tourism accounts for one fifth of the economy in Greece but faced major blows because of the pandemic.
He further added that authorities have plans to prioritise the immunisation of people in the hospitality sector after the vulnerable have been vaccinated.
