Delhi govt has announced a weekend curfew in the Capital amid the steep spike in Covid-19 cases. CM Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday announced that there will be curfew from Friday evening to Monday morning in the Capital.
The CM said that essential services will be allowed during the curfew and people who have to catch a flight or train will be allowed on showing valid travel documents.

He also added that curfew passes will be issued for weddings already planned in the city.
Announcing further curbs in Delhi a day after the city witnessed a record spike of over 17,000 cases, Kejriwal said that gyms, malls, spas and auditoriums will remain closed, while only take way and home delivery facility will be allowed at restaurants. Cinema halls will allowed to function only at 30% capacity.
