According to market research firm Counterpoint, the market for true wireless earbuds will grow globally 33% year-on-year. The segment is set to touch 310 million units worth of sale, with Apple, Xiaomi and Samsung expected to lead the charge. Apple is expected to retain its lead in the segment with 84 million units of its AirPods to be sold in 2021.
