Pegasus row: Congress' UP chief, other state leaders held after clashes with police

UP Congress chief Ajay Kumar Lallu and several other state leaders have been arrested after clashes broke out between police and them during a protest march. 

Congress' UP unit had planned to march till the Governor's house to submit a memorandum against alleged spying on Rahul Gandhi demanding a probe into the Pegasus snooping row but Lallu and other Congress leaders were put under house arrest on Wednesday night. 

Clashes erupted when the police tried stopping Ajay Kumar Lallu and Congress workers from going ahead with their protest. They were all arrested and taken away in buses.
