Coming soon to your neighbourhood: A 7- Eleven courtesy Kishore Biyani

7-Eleven , the world’s largest convenience store chain, will enter India in partnership with Kishore Biyani’s Future Group, said the Indian company said in an exchange filing.Future Retail has signed a master franchise agreement with the Japanese-owned, U.S.-based chain to set up small-format store. The tie-up for these 24 x 7 stores will be on a revenue-sharing model and the licensing arrangement will be for at least 70-80 years.The 7-Eleven stores are likely to have several product categories but the big focus will largely be on food.
