Stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui, who walked out of an Indore jail last week, posted a video titled, 'Munawar Faruqui leaving comedy' on his YouTube channel on Sunday.
The video was his first after he walked free after spending nearly a month in prison over allegations of 'insulting Hindu Gods, as well as home minister Amit Shah' and making 'filthy and indecent jokes' about Hindu Gods.
In the 10-minute-long video, Faruqui apologised to his fans for a misleading title, spoke about his passion for comedy. Further, he explained his intention of not hurting anyone's sentiments. However, he did not name anyone in the video nor did he speak about his time in jail.
