A report from Cisco has predicted that the number of people that use the Internet in India will rise to over 907 million by the year 2023. Accounting for 64% of the country's population, Cisco said this number will be driven by digital literacy, mobile penetration, and the spread of Internet connectivity to remote areas of the country. The report projects that 38% of all networked devices in India will be smartphones, while 12% will be connected televisions.
