A group of Chinese researchers has begun a second phase human trial of a potential Covid-19 vaccine, shares the Institute of Medical Biology at Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. The IMBCAMS vaccine is one among six potential vaccines being tested by Chinese scientists. The second phase will evaluate the dosage required and assess if the vaccine can safely trigger an immune response once administered. To prepare for China's future vaccine supplies, IMBCAMS plans to use a plant solely dedicated to a Covid-19 vaccine.
