British diplomat Christina Scott, who is the head of the United Kingdom's mission in China, shared a 'before and after' image of Nanguan mosque in China's Ningxia province on twitter.
Sharing the images, Scott wrote, visitors aren't allowed in the mosque which also happens to be a spot for tourists. The image pair highlight the scraping-off of dome and minarets. However, the name of the mosque remains in place, written in Chinese at the entrance to the worship place.
