Despite the entire England squad testing negative for Covid-19 on Monday, players Ben Chilwell and Mason Mount have gone into isolation as they came into contact with Scotland midfielder Billy Gilmour during Friday’s match at the European Championship.
The Scottish national team had confirmed on Monday that Gilmour had tested positive for Covid-19. The English Football Association in a statement said that Chilwell and Mount will be kept away from the rest of the England players and the support team for a while.
