India launched the best-ever high resolution earth imaging satellite from Sriharikota on Thursday. The ISRO rocket is carrying 30 small satellites from eight countries, including the US, on the mission. The main satellite, informally called 'Chhota Bheem' after a popular cartoon character, weighs a relatively low 380 kg. In Feb 2017, ISRO had launched a record 104 satellites in a single mission
