Chattishgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel was seen getting whipped as part of Govardhan Puja celebrations in Durg.
In a video that is doing the rounds of social media, a man can be seen whipping the chief minister on his outstretched right arm. The ritual went on for eight rounds after which the man hugged Baghel.

Govardhan Puja is celebrated a day after Diwali festivities, to mark the lifting of Govardhan hill by Krishna to protect the residents of Braj from the wrath of Indra.
