After a sensational opening goal from Kylian Mbappe, Paris St Germain looked on course to a massive win against last season's runners up Manchester City at the Etihad but Pep Guardiola's men fought back to win the game 2-1.

An assist from Lionel Messi is all that Mbappe needed to put Paris St Germain on top in Manchester as the home side appeared to be struggling without Kevin de Bryune who was ruled out due to a Covid-19 infection.

After conceding the lead, the home side fought back hard to equalise through Raheem Sterling who calmly slotted the ball in. 13 mins later, Gabriel Jesus found the winner against the run of play as Manchester City grabbed all 3 points with a 2-1 scoreline.

City on the virtue of topping Group A with 12 points have already booked a Round of 16 berth, PSG on the other hand despite losing the away tie are also through to the knockouts.
