Yuzvendra Chahal's parents have tested positive for Covid-19 and his father has been admitted to a hospital with severe symptoms, the India cricketer's wife Dhanashree Verma said in a social media post on Friday.
Dhanashree added that her parents had also contracted the virus while she was in the IPL bio-bubble with Chahal. But fortunately they have recovered now.
Chahal represented Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2021 before the tournament was suspended on May 4.
