Centre has prepared an Air India revival plan: Jayant Sinha

Union Minister Jayant Sinha on Thursday informed the Lok Sabha that the centre has prepared a revival plan for the debt-laden Air India. The Civil Aviation minister stated that a comprehensible financial package includes the transfer of non-core debt and assets to a Special Purpose Vehicle, implementation of governance reforms by the board and strategies for each of Air India's core businesses. The minister also said that the embattled carrier has plans to monetise its unutilised immovable assets.
