CBI flies case against Gautam Thapar in Rs 466 cr Yes Bank case

The CBI has registered a fresh case against industrialist Gautam Thapar for causing an alleged loss of Rs. 466.51 crore to Yes Bank.

CBI carried out searches at 14 locations in Delhi-NCR and three other cities after registering an FIR against Oyster Buildwell Private Ltd and Avantha group promoter Gautam Thapar.

Oyster Buildwell Pvt Ltd (OBPL) is part of Avantha group with over 97 percent stake held by Avantha Realty. The complaint by Yes Bank which is now part of the FIR alleges misappropriation and diversion of funds.
